Mazel Tov!! Celebrating Judaism is never an issue, and should never be an issue wherever it is. Those who do have comments about it and relate a personal celebration of religion to any worldwide conflict are part of the reason why anti-semitism is so widespread and why anti-Zionism is in fact anti-semitism.
Have a good, safe trip, and congratulations to your son! (I won't get corny and say that Yiddish thing). And, STAY SAFE!
I appreciate that you will be providing written synopses of your podcasts. I'm one of those troglodytes who can't stand looking at faces a foot away from a camera, often with audio out of sync due to something called "bandwidth."
Congratulations to your son and have a wonderful trip. May peace be among all of us.
That's wonderful Julie. In the late 1980s I took a trip to see important places such as Israel, Auschwitz & Dachau, and former East Germany.
Seeing Israel on the ground was eye-opening to say the least. I’ve never forgotten the great spirit of the people there.
Have a wonderful trip and stay safe!🩵
