SCOTUS deadlocked 4-4 on the religious charter school case from OK. That means the OK Supreme Court ruling that it was unconstitutional stands.
ACB recused herself because she had ties to several school lawyers. It seems that even some conservative justices have ethics and professional standards, since she would surely ruled for the school otherwise.
Yesterday, a federal judge blistered the NY district federal prosecutor for bringing suit against Mayor Baraka too quickly and then requesting to drop it. The judge did drop the suit with prejudice and told the prosecutor to be sure to convey his (judge's) displeasure over the grossly unprofessional conduct. Not that the prosecutor--tRump's former lawyer--will even care.
As more and more rulings at all levels go against Rump, perhaps the Progressive gloom and doom, sky-is-falling mantras can be moderated. The sky isn't quite falling...it's only lowering a bit.
