Unfortunately, Amazon will not be showing the tariff price difference on their site. Seems that after a phone call with trump, bezos backed down and will not be doing it. Keep boycotting amazon.

Say this loud and often until everyone hears and acknowledges what Trump has done.

It's about to be hammered home even more. tRump just rscinded the "under $800" tariff on individual goods from China. That means Timu (etc) orders will be subject to 155% (or whatever). True, that junk is so cheap that many will not notice, but many MAGAs probably rely on the very low prices.

Why do i have the urge to tell the longshore an and the teamsters to reap what they've sown? I know the implications are much broader than those groups, but fuck them for their part in enabling the fascist takeover. They can feed their children their red hats as far as I'm concerned, not try to bump other drivers out of their jobs after they took a torch to their own.

Yup, that's exactly the attitude that will ensure a R victory in the midterms!

Yep exactly. We're going to tell them that it will all be OK so that they can vote R again in the mid-terms. /s

100% correct. The dems have to show up as LEADERS, not PATHETIC WIMPS, like they have been doing. They have proven themselves to be totally ineffectual.

The ILWU endorsed Harris.

The ILA represents longshoremen on the Atlantic and Gulf Coasts and Great Lakes.

This post conflates the ILWU with the ILA as if the latter represents west coast dock workers which is very misleading.

I did not intend to mislead anyone. The tariffs will impact the ports on the Great Lakes and the Atlantic as well. The West Coast is just two weeks ahead because of their proximity to Asia. But you are right that I did not make this clear, so I will amend. Thanks for pointing this out.

Yeah, I sure love all those sternly worded letters that go out. He probably has a daily shredding party and flushes them. He’s good at that! No paper trail!

Strongly worded letter??!?🤮🤬 Get your asses to San Pedro. Nail this to Donnie and his disciples. While you're at it, show up at box stores. They're handing you the opportunity to do large political damage to them. Please don't fuck it up. It's past time for Schmucky Chuckie to step aside.

Schumer has got to go. He and his fellow Boomers keep playing this like it's Summer of Love protests all over again. "People are getting so aroused!" -- "Strongly worded letters" -- and let's not forget his Corona and Avocado prop comedy at the podium -- can't we kick these walking gaffe factories to the curb?

As one of those, I agree. It's well past time for the "younger" generations to take charge. Unfortunately, the X'ers are too occupied supporting their children and grandchildren, few of whom seem to have ever found gainful employment. And when a younger D does come along, they have their own tired slogans: "Rainbows and unicorns for everyone!" "Oh, the poor immigrants!"

Time for X, M, and Z(eros) to exhibit a little intelligent self-interest and recognize that the majority of people are--for better or worse--more concerned about themselves than about tiny minorities. Harsh? Totally! Reality? You bet!
