So basically he knows nothing, understands nothing and nothing is his fault, ever. It’s someone else’s fault. No news is bad news because if it’s on the news it’s good for him because it’s about him and all the things he is doing, whether those things are good or bad.
And if he thinks something has happened then it has.
He is a bloke in a room ….and he is the only one in the room.
Psychiatrist probably have a word to describe the condition. The rest of us call it insanity.
Observable insanity.
The solution:
The REPUBLICANS need to walk into the White House and do an intervention. NOW.
The Republicans.
It has been done many times, in many countries, through out the world, over the centuries.
Good comments! As for the "intervention," hopefully the first step has already been taken by Tesla's potential buyers and stockholders. The Muskrat won't admit it, but the company's financial reverses are hurting him immensely. He still has enough to finance his "threat primaries," but the combination of having to "step back" and the incredibly bad financial press may lead tRump to seriously distance himself. A few R legislators have already begun to timidly speak out against certain policies (NOT, however, the deportations) and it takes time to grow a backbone.
However, it seems that the sky is not really falling. Progressives can put away those steel-reinforced Handmaid Hats.
It seems that the basic problem regarding this incident is that it is in conflict with the statement often made on this site regarding tRump: "No one is above the law."
I suppose we need to add "unless they are doing something we like!"
Regardless of how ICE (or the FBI) found out about this individual, once they appeared in the judge's courtroom and announced their purpose, she had no legal right to either misdirect them or shield the individual.
If there is any possibility of curbing tRump's excesses prior to 2026, it's going to happen through the judicial system. It's got to be followed by everyone.
I know it’s not helpful and changes nothing but I’m so, so sick of this man. Everyday it’s a new assault on something. I did notice equally gross Kruela Pam Bondi was exaggerating the man taken by ICE. He was a horrible domestic abuser and the implication was he beat up his wife. Later I read he and his roommate got into an argument and cops were called. Always Trump and his people blow everything up out of proportion. The fact is they want NO immigrants of any kind. There was absolutely no reason for ICE to be involved and then escalate the situation to arrest the judge of all things. Just another thing to hit the streets about. I live in a sanctuary city. ICE is never called in unless a serious crime is being committed. From the sounds of this 2 guys probably drinking got into a scuffle and someone called the cops. In my city they might have arrested one or both men but ICE would not have been involved. Over the top performative drama with these Trump people all the time.
This is an opportunity to rally around Judge Dugan and the issues of executive over reach. I would say all members of Congress and Senate with any shred of a backbone should start holding press conferences and yelling loudly about this. Citizens can rally in the streets. Make this a focal point of your protests. 🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦
Happy birthday, Julie. Wish there was better news to report other than the Executive arresting members of the Judiciary and officially confirming 47’s second coup.
You--and everyone else--do understand that the judge is not a member of the "judiciary" in the Constitutional sense? A state judge, or any state entity, has no legal authority to interfere with a federal matter. Had she thought that the pending confrontation was not legal, she should have put on her robes (if not already wearing them) and, together with the individual's lawyer who was also present, confronted the federal agents and requested to see the applicable paperwork. At best, she could have ascertained a LEGAL problem and alerted them, "requesting" (demanding) that they cease and return with appropriate documentation. At worst, both she and the lawyer would have been witnesses, and she could have demanded specific information as to where the individual was being taken so that a writ of habeas corpus could be prepared by the lawyer.
Either the alleged "confrontation" with tRump takes place within the context of the law, or else it is lost before it even begins.
Do you have the full warrant outlining the allegations? Uh yeah, we know state judge summarizes that. Obstruction of justice is a vague charge. What is outlined in the warrant? Why did Ka$h announce it on X and delete it? It sounds political. This is what the FBI is focused on? Not major crimes, preventing terrorism, obstruction over a small immigration matter?
I have no idea why he posted and deleted it. Remember: Social Media is for Morons!
Be that as it may, regardless of whether "obstruction of justice" is vague, as long as it's in a federal statute, they can charge it. Probably will get dismissed. As for why, that's pretty obvious: to intimidate others who might think of interfering in an FBI operation.
Hey, at least the FBI isn't tracking down journalists who publish sedition...yet!
Most governments send a letter. It seems the Judge told ICE you can’t arrest this person in my court room. ICE got big mad. No warrant. Definitely intimidation. Shouldn’t publish ideas like that in this evil universe. Hope it gets dismissed with prejudice.
Since when does "government" send a letter alerting suspects of an arrest? And what gives a judge the legal right to tell federal agencies where they can or can't arrest people?
As to warrant, a very cursory Google reveals:
"ICE does not require a warrant to arrest someone found in a public place for an immigration violation. However, ICE does need a warrant to enter a private residence, like a home, unless there is consent." Can't get much more public than a courtroom.
And OF COURSE it was intended as intimidation!
WARNING! The following link could cause permanent damage to the psyches of sensitive people. Visit with extreme caution!
Among my many personal failings, being a lawyer is not one of them. But I doubt that a state judge has the legal authority, based on a state procedure or regulation, to disrupt or thwart federal law enforcement officials performing their functions.
If you don't like a federal law, elect a majority of congressional representatives who will change it.
Who called them really not an issue, but obviously federal agencies pursuing a legal objective have precedence over a state's interpretation of its rights and prerogatives. I believe something called the Civil War settled that.
I see your point but what are they searching every court docket to look for anyone who could be illegal? People in every state go before judges all day long on all kinds of matters. The feds are not usually involved. If they wanted to take this guy into custody it probably could have happened at a later date either from his jail cell or his residence. My objection is about the over the top drama involved. I can hear Fox now. A judge involved herself while we were trying to rid America of a dangerous criminal. The myth they’ve put out there is all undocumented people are dangerous and they are roaming all over American when in fact they are the least likely to commit crimes because of fear of deportation.
Nothing you said is unreasonable, but the basic fact is that they determined to detain him in a public courtroom and a judge obstructed them. Everything else is extraneous.
And as for arresting him in his jail cell...do you REALLY think that that judge was going to incarcerate him? THAT'S why they showed up at the one location they were assured of finding him!
Well we don’t know if he was going to be remanded. More details would be helpful. It could have been a bond hearing or he could have had past charges. We may never know. What this situation does is create the drama of the news cycle. There’s at least one daily. I doubt there will be any actual consequences for the judge. The guy ICE arrested is in their custody and everyone is in a tizzy over this as everyone is about something daily because we’re stuck living in theatre of the absurd. Tomorrow a new manufactured drama will o cue and we’ll all be off to the races again. It’s exhausting
In one article I read, there was a pre-existing deportation order for him. But regardless, it doesn't matter. Whether drama for news or a set-up to embarrass a liberal judge, no state judge has the legal authority to interfere with a federal arrest or detainment.
I've been marching, protesting, and spreading the word, but you know damn well that it'll take an act of Congress to get that MF'er out, and theyre not doing shit!
That’s the point of needing the bigger numbers out protesting & keeping up with the calling, emailing, etc. When Congresspersons on either side start to worry that their voters are angry enough to fire them from their cushy jobs; they will break from trump. They will become more afraid of their voters than they are of him. We give them cover & help stiffen their spines.
General strike time. Flood the streets.

Not the suspect, the judge. This won’t stand. Sorry I don’t visit places that paid $750 million to settle defamation suits.
Happy Birthday 🎂 🥳 Julie, now go have fun, you deserve it! And be safe!

Happy birthday Julie. Sorry you had to work today.
Oh yeah, and Happy Birthday, Julie! 🥳
So glad I caught you, Michelle, and Tara live just now. I'm going out of my fucking mind! Who is going to stop this coup?!
Us, WE THE PEOPLE have to be the ones to swallow any fear we might have, & rise up in massive numbers & say NO
I've been marching, protesting, and spreading the word, but you know damn well that it'll take an act of Congress to get that MF'er out, and theyre not doing shit!

That's exactly why I'm on social media blasting as much truth as possible and marching my tits off! Hugs, my sister.🤗
Thank you for the information. And Happy Birthday!
Impeach Kash Patel!! Congress had better stand the hell up!
You mean, the REPUBLICAN Congress? THAT one?
