On Epstein, Who's Dumber than Trump's Cultists?

Donald Trump must wake up every single day thanking the sweet baby Jesus for giving him such easy marks to manipulate all day long. Has anyone on earth been more readily played than MAGA? The guys running three card monte scams in Times Square back in the day had a harder time swindling tourists than Trump has hoodwinking this crew.

If you had the misfortune of checking X last night, you would have seen MAGA rejoicing after Trump directed Pam Bondi to release “any and all pertinent grand jury testimony, subject to Court approval” connected to Jeffrey Epstein.

Bondi hopped right to it. “President Trump — we are ready to move the court tomorrow to unseal the grand jury transcripts,” she posted on social media. (Do these people communicate any other way?)

Predictably, MAGA was elated. Trump had once against checkmated his adversaries, the libs who were demanding the release of the files. (The less said about Nick Fuentes, Mike Cernovich, Alex Jones and all the other MAGA influencers clamoring for the exact same thing, the better.)

Spare me. In 2019, a grand jury indicted Epstein and, a year later, another grand jury indicted his procurer Ghislaine Maxwell. First, grand jury testimony is deeply anticlimactic. In these two cases, it would have featured a prosecutor asking a case agent — in this instance, most likely an FBI agent — to narrate what Epstein or Maxwell did wrong and whom the agent spoke with to back it up. If any primary witnesses were called at all, they would have likely been the girls, who would have been asked if they were ever trafficked by Epstein or Maxwell. That’s it. That would have been enough to get Epstein or Maxwell indicted. No names of co-conspirators needed, because the government was not seeking to indict anyone else. The identifies of the men would not have been necessary for the grand jury to return an indictment against Epstein or Maxwell.

Know where the really good stuff is?
