Lord, spare us from the Boomer men running the Democratic Party.
Today’s example is James Carville, the Ragin’ Cajun who was once one of the greatest political consultants of his time but of late has given some… questionable advice. First, it was telling Democratic politicians to “play possum” and “do nothing” in the face of Trump’s many outrages. Some Carville contemporaries in Democratic leadership took his words as gospel, which is why the best they can do is to send sternly worded letters as Trump torches our country. No wonder the Democratic Party’s polling was at record lows shortly after Carville made those remarks.
Now, Carville is lambasting Democrats for being scolds and nags and for generally getting on everyone’s nerves.
