Here's What Democrats Can Do About Epstein

And they better do it

Last night, Republicans on the Rules Committee in the House of Representatives blocked an amendment that would have forced Attorney General Pam Bondi to release the Epstein files, presumably because it was not tied to the to the underlying legislation to which it was attached. In a rare move, right-wing Republican Rep. Ralph Norman broke with his own party to support the amendment, signaling the fracturing of MAGA over this scandal.

Here is what Democrats can do to force the release of the Epstein files and put hypocritical Republicans on the spot at the same time. Remember, these MAGAites have railed for years about various pedophilia scandals perpetrated by the “Deep State” that secretly runs our government. Jeffrey Epstein was the apotheosis of these theories, which is why MAGA is currently so fractured over Donald Trump’s insistence that we all move on from this scandal.

But Democrats have an easy way to force the hand of every Republican who would have to choose between loyalty to Trump and loyalty to their own base, which demands the release of the Epstein files. If Democrats don’t take this opportunity now, they will once again underscore how unserious they are about taking on Trump in any meaningful way.
